You can place 1 bunny each on the Sapphire mine, 2 bunnies each on the Emerald mine, and 3 bunnies each on the Ruby and Diamond mines. Although the bunnies mine faster on the upper mines, there are gem limits which require attendance. Sapphire caps at 500 gems, Emerald caps at 2500 gems, Ruby caps at 5000 gems, and Diamond caps at 10000. You can avoid the cap by collecting the gems.

Gems are the primary currency in Tunnel Town, with a subsidiary currency of Stars. They are also currency in the popular game, Animal Jam. In Tunnel Town, you can obtain gems by placing bunnies on mines to work. You can also purchase gems in-game using real money.
